Description:
Valencia hosts the first UN center in Spain. Today is the second center of UN operations in Europe. It is located in the south of Valencia Manises airport in the town of Quart de Poblet.
Its main mission is to coordinate, plan and direct the operations of UN peacekeepers around the world, being complementary to the existing center in Italy. It also provides advice on police matters, demining, logistics, administration and military.
The base has an area of 40,500 square meters, around which there is an area of 37,000 square meters to ensure coverage of the antennas available to the center. It houses a total of 4 buildings, 2 with administrative functions, a data center and other communications. The base employs around 300 staff of international level.
Services and Applications INEL SL has performed the following work:
- Installing F.O. between 4 buildings.
- UTP cabling installation in the data center.
- Wiring systems for remote monitoring of SAIDS.
- Installation path connecting and trays.
- Certification UTP and fiber optic network.
