The Business Confederation of the Vall d’Albaida (coeval) was founded in late 1996 with the basic objective of uniting the efforts of the various sectoral organizations and companies based in the Shire.
The idea was received with enthusiasm by different sectors and in no time we had the Textile Association of Valencia – Vall d’Albaida Regional Board, the Association of Promoters and Builders Ontinyent, the Association of Hoteliers in the Vall d ‘Albaida and a large number of associates on an individual basis.
We got together in the same Confederation sectors as diverse as those cited above textile, construction and hospitality, as well as graphic arts, commerce, business services, metal, making the wax, food, transportation, electricity, handicrafts , glass, industrial supplies, advertising, etc..
The inflow of firms is constant, as the incorporation of the Association of Businesses and Services Bocairent, the Chandlers Guild membership of the Vall d’Albaida, Trade Associations Ontinyent and Shippers Association The Vall d’Albaida, and the Association of Valencian recycled glass, among others.
Associated companies are based in several villages in the Shire as: Ontinyent Albaida Agullent, Aielo of Malferit, L’Olleria, Bocairent, Benigánim, Atzaneta d’Albaida, Montaverner …
This duality of Partnership, based on the representation of different sectors and from different populations with the link belonged to the Shire, is coeval makes a distinct and novel Confederation.
Coeval activities focus on two objectives:
– Support for different groups involved. Among others, we could mention coeval projects being developed in the Shire to implement new technologies and improvements in the competitiveness of our business associates. The campaigns for safety in hospitality venues, promoting reform of the current General Urban Plan of Ontinyent. Also, from our Press Office coverage is given to any news event arising from within the Association or any of its partners in particular, as is information regarding awards, innovations introduced by companies, according to company entities …
– Training activities and information to partners, in coordination with the CEV and through shared offices, have led to different courses and cross-sectoral and Conferences and Seminars on current issues such as the Euro, the Contract Labor, the Occupational Health and Safety, Tax Reform, the Court of Arbitration , Reciprocal Guarantee Society, Environment, Quality and the New Technologies.
In addition, coeval displayed in various municipal and county forums, always with the intention of bringing the voice of the various economic sectors where due to be heard and their views taken into account.
Coeval is present in the Commission’s Environment Local Ontinyent in the Economic and Social Ontinyent in the Association for the Development and Diversification of Rural Economy at the Vall d’Albaida, the Network of Central Districts Valencia and the Association of Industrial Districts of the Central Regions. Also, and following the well received by all stakeholders of the Shire, with the idea put forward by coeval of the need for installation at the University of Valencia in the Vall d’Albaida, we present as patrons in the University Foundation Vall d’Albaida. Also, coeval as Patron has been integrated in the Pro-Ave.
Coeval since its establishment, is integrated into the General Assembly of the Valencian Business Confederation, with two representatives to the same.
Coeval is the union of efforts and concerns for improving the welfare of all economic and social sectors of the Vall d’Albaida.
In short, coeval aims to:
– Identify sectoral needs.
– To represent the professional and economic interests of our partners.
– Serve as the organ of union between the partners.
– Inform partners on all kinds of support and actions aimed at improving the business expectations in the short, medium and long term.
