Solar energy is energy obtained by capturing the light and heat emitted by the Sun
The solar radiation reaching the Earth can be used by the heat produced or also through the absorption of radiation, eg optical or otherwise. It is a so-called renewable energy, particularly clean group, known as clean energy or green energy. Although, at the end of its useful life, the solar panels can be a difficult pollutant recyclable waste today.
The power of the radiation varies with time of day, weather conditions that the buffer and latitude. One can assume that in good conditions of irradiation the value is approximately 1000 W / m² at the surface. This power is known as irradiance.
