The group Valfortec opened the largest facility in the province, which will prevent the emission of 9,300 tonnes of CO2.

The group Valfortec, specializing in the development and operation of solar parks, inaugurated on Tuesday 8 January a solar photovoltaic Alfarrasí, Valencia, the largest in the province. The new facility will produce about 16 million kWh per year, equivalent to the consumption of 5,000 households and avoid the emission of 9,300 tonnes of CO2.

The installed capacity of this type of energy has increased sixfold over the past years in the Region, with five manufacturing photovoltaic modules that produce 30% of the national total.
